I am playin Bari and alto sax with Kahulanui tonight for a private B-day party. Looking forward to playin the great stage at the Mauna Kea luau grounds. Blessed to be in Hawaii.
On Wednesday from 5-9pm the band Ele Ele will perform at Huggo's On The Rocks. The musicians that make up Ele Ele are bandleader Bula Akamu on ukulele, guitar and lead vocals; Duncan Bamsey on saxophones; and Mati Laino on vocals and bass guitar. Greg Shirley and I will be playing a dinner jazz set for the Honu Restaruant's Thursday night Sushi & Jazz. The duo consists if Greg on Seven string guitar and myself on tenor sax and flute.
